More than 200 tourism professionals discover Argentina in a road show

Promotion of the Argentinean destination in three of the most important cities in the Spanish market: Madrid, Bilbao and Barcelona.

An event with a business conference to find out about the destination’s tourist offer and novelties, together with a subsequent gastronomic demonstration that toured the destination, from north to south, through its varied dishes and ingredients.

What we’ve done

B2B Workshop for 40 Tour Operators in Madrid, 20 in Bilbao and 40 in Barcelona with an Argentinean dinner, in the same venue, with live gastronomic demonstration by the chef Javier Brichetto for 100 travel agencies. Furthermore, it was celebrated an event in Bilbao for 25 travel agencies and 90 in Barcelona.

In addition to it, there was a presentation of new product and attendance of the main Argentinean Authorities to the event.

More than 15 exhibitors, including accommodation, DMCs, airlines and regions, presented their new products and services in the Andean destination to the Spanish tourism sector.

Results: Each exhibitor had the opportunity to hold more than 25 appointments in each of the cities. Most of those attending were buyers belonging to Tour Operators or independent travel agencies with their own products.

  • Unique gastronomic demonstration. We were also able to get to know the destination through the palate with a live demonstration and the subsequent tasting of these dishes and flavours. In total, more than 200 tourism professionals attended these events in the three cities.
