The workshop aimed to reach travel business contacts with a real interest in the sale of Iceland as a destination, but who were not programming it yet. Collectively and collaboratively, a group of Icelandic stakeholders visited these agencies to present the destination and offer support for the creation of new products. Some of the activities carried out included sending out meeting requests to the product managers of all the tour operators in our database that program Europe, as well as agencies specialized in active / outdoor travel and MICE, writing and sending a press release to the media, follow-up with phone calls to the main contacts of each city. attendees in Madrid and 55 participants in Barcelona.
In addition, for each of the confirmed meetings, Interface Tourism offered a description of the agency / company, complete details of the contact and a brief description of the areas of interest or points to discuss during the appointment confirmation process.
